Women’s Bible Study
The Women’s Bible Study meets on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. The group meets to support one another in our faith walk and do a 6 to 12 week DVD Bible Study with about a month break in between studies. Past studies have been written by Beth Moore and Joyce Meyer to name a couple. The studies have included Jesus: the One and Only, James: Mercy Triumphs, When Godly People Do UnGodly Things, Battlefield of the Mind, and Breaking
Free. Contact facilitator Cathy Camera for information about the next study at 707-0096 or email@example.com.
Noon Bible Studies
During Advent or for the four to five Wednesdays leading up to Christmas, there will be a Bible Study taught at noon by the Associate Pastor Sommer Worley. Also, a similar study takes place during Lent which is the five to six Wednesdays leading up to Easter. These are seasonal studies that reflect the reason we celebrate each season and why Advent and Lent are good times for us to prepare ourselves for the coming kingdom of God and for the work of the kingdom of God which is already here inside each of us who professes Christ as King. There may be other opportunities at other times of the year for this Wednesday Noon Bible Study. The church office has a schedule available for anyone who wants to participate.
(Ladies in Fellowship Together)
The purpose of our new ladies ministry is to form a group of “youngerish” ladies who want to grow together in faith, support one another, laugh together, and work together for God’s purposes in our lives with our families, friends, and community. This group was not created to be another time commitment that you have to add to your already busy calendar. This is a group you can email last minute and say, “I’m headed to Knoxville shopping. Anyone want to come?” We will have Bible studies that form, movie nights, craft lunches, retreats, and whatever else you might feel called to lead or participate in over time. We plan to have 4 meetings each year as a base for what we will do and will build from there. You can participate as much or as little as you like. Contact the church office for more information.
